My first infographic competition
The subject of infographics greatly interests me, being as it is a mixture of art, design and critical thinking. Doug Belshaw - from his new blog location - links to a number of infographics blogs, including Flowing Data, Cool Infographics, Datavisualization.ch, Information Aesthetics and Simple Complexity. Here's more from Belshaw on infographics. Doug Belshaw, Weblog, November 20, 2009. [Link] [Tags: Information, Visualization, Web Logs] [Previous][Next]Comments

I love infographics/visualizations too! Smashing Magazine not long ago had a bunch of beautiful examples http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2009/09/11/25-useful-data-visualization-and-infographics-resources/ in case you didn't catch it. [Comment] [Permalink] [Previous][Next]
Re: My first infographic competition
Thanks for the link, Stephen. I'm looking forward to exploring infographics in more depth. I recently picked up 'Designing Infographics' by Eric K. Meyer very cheaply, but I see that in Amazon Canada it's rather more expensive:

It's good for the theory and practicalities behind infographics. :-) [Comment]
