Radia Perlman (who assures us she's the only person in the world with that name) discusses the many facets of identity and the frustrations internet users experience with each of them. How do we describe who we are, who do we prove it (assuming we should) to others, and mostly, how do we avoid drowning in confusion over the whole topic.
