We could no longer choose an identity to project depending on our inclination and the situation at hand as everything having to do with our identity would have been pre-empted by the surveillance system... Who it is that determines the facts about us and in what context and light they are presented may turn out to be as important as the facts themselves. Truly, to be completely 'outed' is to be annihilated." Good read, and the conclusion leaves me hopeful.
