From the Wookie website: "Wookie Engine is a server application that allows you to upload and deploy widgets for your applications. It also lets widgets make calls to other sites, APIs and feeds via HTTP a proxy." The widgets are based on the W3C widget specification. This is pretty cool, and so is the work Scott Wilson reports on his website about the work of the CETIS Widget Working Group (more). Wookie plug-ins have been created for Moodle, WordPress and Elgg.
