Knowledge, Learning, Community

This is from a presentation by David White I attended Monday (here's my outline of his talk). Though of course I'm familiar with Kevin Kelly, I hadn't seen this before. It combines two of my favourite things: the internet, and mapping. "I've become very curious about the maps people have in their minds when they enter the internet," writes Kelly, "So I've been asking people to draw me a map of the internet as they see it. That's all. More than 50 people of all ages and levels of expertise have mapped their geography of online." The article is undated but Wayback's first version is from 2015. Here's the Flickr collection, which now has 273 items. Also from David White: What is even real anymore? The case for personal agency being at the forefront of what it means to be literate.
