There's a lot of discussion ranging from extreme to nonsensical on Europe's pending votes on social media screening. I don't care how it impacts the platforms; they're happy to promote discord to make a profit and they can pay the price. But what if the fediverse? If there's no algorithms, no problem. But Bluesky is a special case, as functionally is divided into three parts: the personal data store (PDS), the relay (or aggregator), and apps. Where does liability lie? This is a good discussion of the issue.
