I don't know how much of my work my former employer bothered to preserve. Maybe nothing - that's what happened after I left two previous employers; all my digital text was just erased, my paper works shredded. I learned early on to keep my own copies of things - but even so, there's stuff I've lost. Jeffrey Zeldman in this article makes the case for preservation. It's a good case - but leaves me wondering about legacy: will they archive my web when I die?
