Spoiler: it took six weeks, not one weekend, and yes, it was AI-aided. I'm not ready to write this way (AI is still way too wordy for my tastes) and I'm not sure I want to read one (same reason). But I can see the motivation: "it is also not a book that one person could have written unaided. There is simply too much contemporary knowledge needed, in too many fields, to bring this clear overview together, and to see the patterns that are out there." I don't know - I see value in the limited perspective that relies on the reader to have read other things and to spot the wider patterns for themselves.
