I wrote a report with Terry Anderson some 26 years ago on institutional collaboration supporting online learning, and while this current resource obviously benefits from much more experience and a wider perspective (and better presentation), many of the issues and approaches remain the same, as does the ongoing need to ensure people have a sense of what they're doing when they're trying to work together. Though the document is specifically addressed to the B.C. post-secondary system, that should stop people from using as a resource. Sections include enabling collaboration, standards and good practice, governance, getting started, IP, and business models.
