Fascinating discussion on the Evidence Based Libraries list on whether people searching for medical information should start with Google or MEDLINE. Concerns about Google range from the quality of information, whther the papers will show up at all, and how badly PageRank will list them. On the other hand, MEDLINE was considered to be difficult to use and slow. People also wanted full papers rather than abstracts. To follow this discussion, use the 'Next in Topic' link near the top of the page (it's small and hard to find).
