The trick to personal content management and note-taking systems isn't getting your content into them, it's in being able to use them effectively to support future work. That's why the stacks of hand-written notes taken over six years of university classes, though lovingly constructed, have served no real purpose in the years since (I still have them, but I increasingly wonder why). This article is more of a brief outline than a detailed description, but it shows how to integrate note-taking with an AI tool (specifically, NotebookLM) to draw value from it. I haven't tried working this way and can't speak to how well it works, but it does appear to address a real need.
