Just something people should know exists. "Open to any organization at no cost, the Metaverse Standards Forum provides a venue for cooperation between standards organizations and companies to foster the development of interoperability standards for an open and inclusive metaverse." Basically, they're not a standards body, but a forum for providing requirements to standards bodies. They're still just ramping up, but they've grown to include pretty much every company in the business, except Apple. This is also a pretty good reminder that even though something (like, say, the metaverse) is no longer the fad of the day, it might still be something substantial and important.
