I'm perhaps more inclined to think this is an interesting article because I'm in the very final hours of wrapping up my look at ethics and AI, but I think that the thinking it provokes can be applied more widely. In a nutshell, Rich Heimann looks at The Age of AI: And Our Human Future by Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, and Daniel Huttenlocher, considers their concerns about the ethical implications of AI, and observing that "the authors represent important spheres of society (e.g., Silicon Valley, government, and academia)" says "we must ask ourselves if these spheres, organizations, and leaders reflect our shared goals and values." I think it's a good question.
