There has been a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth about the 'learning loss' inflicted by the pandemic. Maybe it's more appropriate to focus on what children learned instead. That's what this article does. "Months of learning from home using laptops, tablets and smart phones, and grappling with connectivity, has taught children and young people skills life beyond school, a survey has found." They've learned all the practical stuff about working and learning online that schools won't teach, and maybe that puts them in a better place.
