Imagine what we would think today about learning and development if the IQ test had originally been a drawing test. That's what this post invites us to consider as it describes the Goodenough test developed in 1926 where children draw portraits and the results are strictly judged. We could instead be measuring such things as perspective, spatial recall, and interpretation.
