It's too soon to write about it, I think, but what I would like to see as an outcome of the upheaval we've all been through is a rewriting of the social contract. This article by JPB Gerald addresses some of the thinking we'll need to get to that point. "I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to get back to the status quo. But what if we chose not to go back? What if we didn't have to settle for normal? What if we could make an entirely new version of our world, our country, and especially our educational institutions? The only thing stopping us is a series of rules that are rapidly being revealed as fictitious and arbitrary. We don't have to go back if we don't want to. So let's not."
