There are thousands of lessons like this on the internet, not part of any official repository, but widely shared and widely used. This one is shared by a site called CSS-Tricks. But the magic is worked by an application called CodePen, which has been around for several years. Here's the CodePen for this article. CodePen takes the script that was entered by the author and executes it in a window that can be displayed on an HTML page.
