The USDLA, which decided a few months ago to cease publication of the USDLA Journal (of which I was Editor-at-Large) has now announced the launch of a new publication, to be called 'Distance Education'. According to the Association, "Distance Learning will not be a research publication, even though the editorial board will carefully screen articles. Rather, Distance Learning will be a practitioner's publication containing well thought-out and practical ideas for the field."
