Trent Batson makes a nice point in his response to the recent (and ill-informed) NY Times editorial on online learning: "with open learning, all connected humans have multiple sources of learning. This legacy 'one-way' mindset limits awareness of the multiple ways that learning can occur and how new learning designs can be varied and enticing."
