Collaborative Content Creation Lab

CANARIE, along with seven public and private sector partners, today announced the launch of the Collaborative Content Creation Lab (CCCL, or C3L). According to the press release, "The C3L Team will jointly develop Web-based and desktop E-learning content authoring tools and help systems for collaborative use by faculty at Canadian universities and colleges." The partners include several colleges and universities, Recombo, Canadian Microelectronics Corporation (CMC), and Desire2Learn. The C3L project is led by OPAS, an Ontario-based industry-university partnership. There's not a lot on the site yet (almost nothing, actually), but according to the press release the first pilot project has been started at Centennial College.CRLF
