I too agree that digital literacy is more than just learning a set of skills. It's also more than the 'logical self-defence' approach that characterizes critical literacy. If anything, I would associate literacy with fluency - a natural facility in a language (whether digital or otherwise) characterized by pattern recognition, creativity with meaning and intent, use and employment, situational awareness, inference and discovery, and adaptability. Is there more?
