W3C Aopts Patent Policy

My first reaction is that the W3C has caved to the patent people. Well, I guess that's my second reaction too. The provision allows the use of patented technology in W3C standards, but with full disclosure and on a royalty free basis. But there may be exceptions. At this point, I have to ask whether the members of the W3C have ever heard the story of the camel's nose...
