Everybody wants to be the (central) one-stop shop. Here's California's version: "The Digital Marketplace (DM) is an innovative one-stop-shopping platform for the discovery, selection and authoring of digital resources. The DM was developed specifically with faculty and students' needs in mind and provides a unique solution to the higher education marketplace. You told us that you want more affordability, more accessibility and more convenience... the Digital Marketplace delivers." It's the same old federation model, where a group of partners attempts to corner (and enclose) the marketplace.
