This blunt assessment of the e-learning industry criticizes companies for focussing on technology - a trend that "shows no sign of abating" - at the expense of content and quality training. "Successful e-learning will, however, mean beating the industry addiction to technology for technology's sake and educating the industry to look at how it can help to drive forward its performance, and that of its employees for improved bottom line profitability and competitive advantage."
