Knowledge, Learning, Community
The following article confirms both the good and bad parts of my predictions. A Virginia company is opening a private for-profit school in the K12 sector (in fact, it's called K12). It will offer personalized learning at reduced cost. But there is also a corporate agenda to this new school, which will focus on "traditional" values. In typical knee-jerk reaction, the American Federation of Teachers attacks the school because it uses technology, and not because it has an overtly political agenda.
