Some discussion of the Susan Smith Nash article over the weekend. Albert Ip writes, "That is the fundamental problem in finding things. If a repository claims to contain everything, it contains nothing useful" because different metadata would be required for different types of objects. And D'Arcy Norman comments, "Reusability is pretty much a fallacy, especially when attempted with highly complex “learning objects” like websites, powerpoints, etc."
