So I followed a link from my email to Alan Levine's paper.li paper, which records tweets he follows, and from there found Madeline Moy's article Highlights of the Tech for Good Leadership Summit put on by Microsoft and NPower. The story was interesting enough and worth a read in its own right. But what became immediately more interesting was the platform it was written on, called Intersect (here's a video intro). The idea of Intersect is that you enter stories coded with places and locations, and possibly populated with people, and supplemented with photos, videos and descriptions. All your stories appear on your timeline, and when your timeline intersects someone else's at one of these stories, you can read everyone's perspective on the event, and read up or down other people's timelines. It's a fabulous idea, well executed. I documented my exploration on Intersect here, with of course the copy in my blog here.
