ACER launches DERN

The Australian Council for Educational Research has launched the Digital Education Research Network (DERN). Kerrie Smith writes, "Researchers with an interest in digital learning are now able to debate issues and share ideas." The website states, "DERN is looking for research evidence about good educational and learning practices. Please join us to share your insights into and knowledge of research into teaching and learning using digital technologies." The word 'evidence' is in bold and italics, so I guess it touches a nerve there.
