Arts & Letters Daily filed its last link October 6 and its assets will be put up for sale - along with the rest of University Business's assets - on October 24 in New York City. ALD was a great site, had a great run, but ultimately wasn't the basis for a business. I don't think it should die though - it doesn't deserve that. At the very least, the archive should not be lost.
