Next steps

I enjoyed the conversation. Thank you for letting us listen in. I am not sure where it would be appropriate but I would love to see an open forum for further discussion of several of your key points. I particularly liked your concept of providing tools and methods to help learners within an organization maximize their potential (in whatever direction that happens to take them). Let them grow and the corporation will grow with them. A loosely formed network of learners/workers that come together to perform a specific task when it needs to be done is a good vision for how work will happen in the future. The networked organization will be a virtual organization consisting of networks of workers across the world and in different corporations. Helping us get to that point and making this world a better place are high on my agenda and I look forward to seeing/hearing/participating in more conversations that help identify paths forward in this direction. Great 'cast. That's the beauty of the forum and the notion of the informal. It's up to those "on the periphery" to get their own insight. I've long been a fan of you and Jay, and more recently George and his concept of connectivism Looking fwd to the next one and agree that World Bridges is the way to go. I saw that Jeff was online with George during the 'cast. For those that don't know, he's the other "mover and shaker" at World Bridges. Regards Doug [Comment] [Permalink] [Previous][Next]
