Re: E-Learning 2.0

It happened again, just yesterday. The phrase "Post linguistic and sub symbolic" spewed out of my mouth - this time with another old co-conspirator Mark Keough. Anyhow, the 'fledgling collection of open content' is beginning to get some attention thanks to a wierd mash-up of NASA DIY Podcast and TedED 'flip' activity.

Again, the trail of breadcrumbs leads back here (after nearly seven years!)

Re: E-Learning 2.0 - Still thinking about video ReMix as new language

Hi Stephen,
Just yesterday Michael Coghlan (and the other good folk at TAFE Australia) interviewed my for a podcast they are doing. The phrase "Post linguistic and sub symbolic" spewed out of my mouth.

I blame you (and this talk!)

I still think a lot about what you were saying - in the context of video ReMix.
In fact, your words inspired this fledgling collection of open content our faculty is putting 'out there' for students to 'communicate with'.

Take Care, and thanks.

Re: E-Learning 2.0

hey steve - i've been enyoying your talks for some time. i generally listen with headphones while at work. i attempted to share some of your podcasts at work through the computer speakers - they're actually pretty good speakers - however for most of your podcasts it was rendered unitelligable. i guess for headphones it's okay if one is listening with enough effort. but it was an annoyance when played through speakers. there was a unamous consensus in the room to shut it off due to poor audio quality and extreme mic-placement issues that seem to plague your podcasts. have you considered talking to an audio expert about improving the quality of your audio. given that so many people value the nuggets of wisdom you are sharing, why not put a little more effort into mic selection, mic placement and audio levels? we won't berate you for losing your edge if you lose that infamous guerilla sound. Re: E-Learning 2.0 [spooky Adelaide connection]

Firstly, let me thank you for putting the audio of your talks online so quickly and 'free-ly'. I have been devouring the sessions on eLearning2.0 and some of your articles on identity managment in recent weeks - in fact, I hope to generate some activity based on my learnings real soon now. Secondly, I was composing a little post for my personal blog and shot over here to your homepage to copy the URL for a link. What should I see but two references to my home-town Adelaide, South Australia. - Spooky!
