The acronyms discussed in this book are MALL (Mobile Assisted Language Learning), MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and OIL (Online International Learning) – New Directions in CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning). This is a short book, and the articles in it are short. As a result the entire book can be read in an hour or so (maybe less). A couple of articles of note were OIL for English for business and Understanding learner autonomy through MOOC-supported blended learning environments.
