While "a billion dollars coming into the industry isn't a bad thing," says Tom Hoffman, "but we're not as ready for it as I'd like to be." Maybe not. But if it is distributed wisely - not to big 'home run' style projects, but to people working on small and interesting projects, the money will be sent to people who are ready for it.
