Last Lecture Professor Dies
Randy Pausch, who became well known for his 'last lecture', has died. He was 47. Younger than me. "You just have to decide if you're a Tigger or an Eeyore. I think I'm clear where I stand on the great Tigger-Eeyore debate. Never lose the childlike wonder. It's just too important. It's what drives us." Re: Last Lecture Professor Dies
One of the most incredible stories I have come across. Ironically, just 3 days prior, I had finally gotten around to watching his "Last Lecture" video (a must see for anyone, IMHO) and had written about how amazing he was still posting updates on his status:

There's not much of a debate on Tigger-Eeyore (I'll buy you a round of malt extract)... I am hard pressed to think of any person who who admit to saying they are an Eeyore. Even more the pitiful for the poor fella. Hmm, I sense a future blog post brewing... [Comment]

Much of the time, I feel like a Tigger surrounded by Eeyores. For all I know, each of those Eeyores also sees themselves as a Tigger surrounded by Eeyores, with me being one of their Eeyores.Hmm. [Comment]
