I mentioned this in my talk yesterday - "Knowledge work is not separate from learning... it does not make sense to look at using one environment (an LMS or PLE) as part of learning and another environment as part of knowledge work. That's the reason I call these: Personal Work and Learning Environment (PWLE - pronounce p-whale)."
