Elk Island is a national park located about a half hour east of Edmonton and where I would go in the spring to, as I put it, commune with the buffalo. In fact I spent a lot more time sitting motionless at the beaver pond. These pics are from the Spring of 1992 and were taken with my trusty Canon camera.
