No digital record of this event exists, and the date is an approximation, but I flew to Virginia West Community College in Roanoke to give a full-day workshop on learning communities. I wasn't really prepared, and then surprised to be in a large auditorium with an audience of only ten people. It was very odd, and not a very good workshop. But we visited a winery and I got to see Roanoke.
