Syndicated Learning
Distance Teaching and Learning Conference, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison,United States, Workshop, Aug 13, 2002.
Online courses do not have to be confined within the pages of a remote Web site or course space. With e-mail newsletters and similar 'soft push' technologies, the reach of an online course can be extended beyond the bounds of the course itself and become a part of a learner's day-to-day activities. The presenter will introduce tools such as RSS and Javascript feeds for creating syndicated learning. The theory of syndicated educational content creation and design principles will also be discussed. Note: zero attendees for this session. Document.
