Riding the Wave: Personal Professional Development in an Age of Chaos
TESIC, Technology Education Special Interest Council, Gander, Newfoundland, Keynote, Oct 27, 2005.
Talk to a group of IT specialists and computer science teachers in Newfoundland. My second effort offering a talk in S5 - view original S5 slides here. It looks at what happens to teaching even in an age when everything changes on a constant basis. So learning isn't adding to what you already know, it means changing what you already know. This is a picture of knowledge as a dynamic network as opposed to (say) a collection of books.
