The Role of the Educator in the Digital World
November 30, 2010
Keynote presentation delivered to TasEDay, Hobart, Tasmania, via Skype and join.me.
In this presentation I argue that the role of the educator should be unbundled and treated as a set of more specific roles. A total of 23 different roles are identified and described. I also argue that we should consider organizing our educational system around the idea of provisioning lecturers, coordinators, mentors, etc. A transcript used to deliver this talk is available here.
