Foundationalism

4th Annual Canadian Graduate Students' Conference in Philosophy, Edmonton, Alberta, University of Alberta.

Foundationalism is the thesis that knowledge is underpinned by some self-evident or irrefutable propositions, such as the truths of logic or sense-data. In this talk I consider some arguments against foundationalism.
