The beta test continues... send me your comments at sdownes@ualberta.ca:

WBT Sytems Launches TopClass XML Toolkit This is a press release and therefore almost impossible to read because to the flowery adjectives, but the gist is that TopClass, a learning management system, has released an e-learning XML toolkit which allows users to export their TopClass data in XML. Which is good. Submitted on May 21, 2001

By John Man, Learning Technology Newsletter, Volume 3, Issue 2, April, 2001. Submitted on May 21, 2001

The Once and Future P2P Interesting look at P2P (Person to Person) technologies, including an overview of Napster and similar technologies. Tries to look forward and suggests that P2P may be an alternative to search engines. Maybe, but we need a better approach to it than Napster. I'm waiting for the day somebody looks at the educational uses for P2P. By Chris Sherman, Search Engine Watch, May 21, 2001. Submitted on May 21, 2001
