OnCore

Various authors, TV Ontario, Aug 10, 2004

A derivative of CanCore, OnCore is a learning object metadata (LOM) application profile developed by TV Ontario, an educational access network "to catalogue its video resources in relation to the Ontario Curriculum."

CRLFUpdate, September 28, 2004: "The OnCore application profile was developed at OISE/UT by Julie Hannaford CRLFand Brian Sutherland for the prototype Ontario Education Portal we are CRLFbuilding under contract to the Ontario Knowledge Network for Learning. CRLFwww.eduontario.ca

CRLFCRLFOISE is planning to drop the Cancore application profile into our RSS feeds CRLFand use the ttl mechanism to facilitate real time resource sharing between CRLFeducation stakeholders. The portal also embeds the Creative Commons CRLFlicensing engine process into submitted resources (two days until Cdn CRLFrelease) and we have further been studying FOAF systems to facilitate peer CRLFto peer interaction for folks interested in tracking resource use and CRLFnetworking with folks with similar interests."
