Common Education Data Standards

Aug 30, 2019

The Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) is "an education data management initiative whose purpose is to streamline the understanding of data within and across P-20W institutions and sectors. The CEDS initiative includes a common vocabulary, data models that reflect that vocabulary (and) tools to help education stakeholders understand and use education data." Read more. The data model is here and you can download a full table and column listing in Excel. I reference this item as it is being considered as a starting point by members of the IEEE 1484.20.1 (Reusable Competencies Definitions) logic model currently being revisited.
