EdTech Journals is Seeking Volunteers

Help update journals listed on edtechjournals.org

The EdTech Journals website lists over 250 journals related to the field of educational technology, instructional design, and distance learning. The list is in need of an update, and the steward of the site, Dr. Ross Perkins, would like your help! While this is not a Designers for Learning project, Dr. Perkins is a supporter of our work as a volunteer on our Program Committee, and we offered to spread the word to our network about the needed help to update this valuable asset to the design community. This website a wonderful listing of journals for those looking to learn about which scholarly outlets might be appropriate for their research and writing.

Contact Dr. Ross Perkins to Apply
Dr. Perkins hopes to get around 25 volunteers who will each examine a small set of assigned journals and, within 30 days or so, update the information about the journals for the website. Selected volunteers who successfully complete their volunteer service will receive a letter from Dr. Perkins acknowledging their volunteer service, and their names will be listed on the edtechjournals.org site as an "editorial board" member.

To respond to his Call for Volunteers, simply contact Dr. Perkins with your email address and interest in volunteering. He can be reached at dr.rossperkins@gmail.com. Selected volunteers will then receive a Google Sheet with instructions on how to help edit and update the journal listings.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Dr. Perkins to support a valuable resource to the instructional design community. Please contact him directly with any questions or comments about this project.
