Course topics: list the major topics of the course. They do not need to be numbered. Unusually topics do not have any objectives or verbs. If you return to the course outline of this course you will see the following headings:

Course outlinesTransfer-of-learning
Lesson planning Evaluation instruments
Teaching strategiesGeneral course information
Bloom’s taxonomy

Delivery methods: list the major types of delivery methods that are to be used during the course (lecture, small groups, discussions, role play).

Method of Evaluation: list the methods that the course will be evaluated (assignments, tests, final examination, presentations). Assign a percentage to each kind of method (assignments 50%, tests 40%, final examination 30%, presentations (40%).

Detail of Preparation: state who prepared (designed) the course and year that it was completed.

Now that you know what each of the headings are telling you, it is important for you to know that all lesson plans must be designed and developed using the course objectives (general objectives and specific objectives). You are responsible and accountable for teaching to the course objectives.
