Organizing and Managing Vocational Education Facilities
(6 credit hours)

This course provides instruction in the planning, organization and management of several types of vocational and industrial education facilities. The scope of this course is the preparation for instruction in a shop or laboratory which includes a complete plan of organization, safety and management showing the necessary equipment, materials and supplies. methods of purchasing, budgeting, financial control, inventory procedures and problems related to shop or laboratory learning environment management will be covered. Additional topics include alternative program and facility structures.
