Big Science Competition The Rio Tinto Big Science Competition is offered to Australian Schools to challenge each student's scientific thinking and problem solving skills. The aim is to enthuse students and enrich their study of science in schools. Questions cover all areas of the science curriculum and they are aimed at allowing the students to show their critical thinking and analytical skills. After the competition is held the questions may be used by teachers to provide a rich stimulus for classroom discussion. Late registrations may be accepted.
