Web Interface for Statistics Education The WISE project offers tutorials in introductory statistics topics, particularly for social scientists. Topics covered include: sampling distribution of the mean; the central limit theorem; hypothesis testing; the concepts of statistical power and effect size; correlation and regression; the t-test; selection of statistical tests; the statistical basis of signal detection theory; and statistical methods of decision making under uncertainty.
