Roald Dahl museum and story centre The Web site for the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre describes the activities being organised by the Centre (which opens in June 2005) and allows access to the searchable catalogue of archives held there. Roald Dahl (1916-1990) was one of the greatest children's writers of the twentieth century, his works including classics such as: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory; James and the Giant Peach; The Witches; and The BFG (Big Friendly Giant).
